Biodegradability traits of Bacillus subtilis and Fusarium sp. on composting of different nonconventional protein source

Biodegradation of livestock processing waste is one the more cost-effective, ecologically safe recycling methods thatmay preserve nutritional content and key amino acids useful in animal feed production. Here, we determined thebiodegrading potentials nonconventional feedstuffs using a combination bacteria (Bacillus subtilis) fungi(Fusarium sp.). Five types (feather meal, hair waste, egg membranes, horn hoof horn) wereselected replicated 10 L plastic biocomposter for 7 weeks observed degradation by measuring changes intotal organic carbon, temperature, phosphorus, potassium, pH, microbial counts rate degradation. Bacteria fungiwere inoculated inside substrate after isolation incubation. The effects physicochemical countswere assessed. biodegradability optimal activity were observed. From results, physico-parameters measuredduring showed significant differences (P <0.05) between substrates. highest decomposition,temperature, pH levels, total recorded feather membrane, andhair waste. weekly study that meal (68.79%, decompose faster than cow (18.72%) membrane(60.89%) (62.82%) (32.31%) during bio-composting.
